One of our Service Users has been to Wells to go shopping for his clothes.
Lots to choose from in the shop, and he enjoyed paying the shopkeeper:

One of our Service Users has been working really hard to get back onto a horse over the last few months. This month he has done it!
A few laps around the arena with Nobby the horse – well done!:

One of our Service Users has been working really hard to get back onto the bus, and have a meal out at a restaurant.
He enjoyed a lovely day out with family, going on the Park and Ride at Taunton, and stopping for some yummy fish and chips for lunch. Well done:

Two of our Service Users have been for a fun filled adrenaline few laps around the race course at the Go Kart track.
Both Service Users had a great time, and I think also the Staff too:

We have two new bird tables at The Grange, we had fun with some DIY putting them together, and now we put our leftover crusts of bread out for the birds daily.
We enjoy seeing what types of different birds come to visit us:

Some evenings at The Grange we like to play games.
We have had fun with the catch game, and challenge to how many times we can keep the ball in the air. One of our Service Users has the record of over 100!:

One of our Service Users made the most of the lovely weather, and went for a lovely walk whilst the sun was out.
They enjoyed a stroll around Cheddar reservoir and had an ice cream afterwards:

One of our Service Users has been going to the garden centre to buy The Grange some beautiful plants for our gardens.
We also enjoyed a lovely drink and cake in the café afterwards:

Some of our Service Users have been enjoying the warmer weather and have been helping to get the garden ready. They have been to the garden centre, and then planted the planters and made a herb garden for the kitchen:

One of our Service Users had a birthday this month! They enjoyed a lovely walk and then a party and chocolate birthday cake with his friends at The Grange:

One of our Service Users has been working hard to do lots of different activities. They have been baking cakes for everyone to share, been for a meal out at a restaurant, and he has also been to buy his new helmet for his horse riding lessons!:

The Courtyard has also been visited by a German Shepard puppy which all Service Users were excited to see:

Our Service Users have been supported by Staff during an all day trip out to Blenheim Palace. They really enjoyed themselves walking around the 300-year-old World Heritage Site:

Easter Egg Hunt and Day Service Activities

Some of our Service Users had so much fun when searching for easter eggs. They ended the day by doing activities up at Day Service with support of our Staff:

Scootering

Whilst we may not be able to visit some of our favourite places in the Community due to lockdown, we have made use of local amenities like the Skate Park in nearby Cheddar to keep us active!:

Stockhill Woods

We are surrounded by the beautiful Somerset countryside, and a particular favourite to walk around is Stockhill Woods which is a mere 5-minute drive away from the Service:

Birthday Celebrations

Here we have a gentleman who always loves a song and dance, even more so when it is his Birthday! He enjoyed receiving a brand-new pair of shoes and the celebrations and dancing lasted all day long:

It was definitely a month for Celebrations with a second Birthday at the service, this service user is a huge fan of the tropical climates so we bought him his own palm tree kit – Whilst it may look small now, it promises to grow into the real deal!:

Game of Bowls

Sometimes the classics are truly the best – especially on a sunny day! Here we have some the guys enjoying a game of Bowls outside the Blackdown Centre of our Day Services:
