Events at Silver Tree Lodge
Tue, 1st January 2019 - Silvertree Lodge Update - January 2019
January has seen the arrival of a new Service User to Silvertree Lodge, and with the New Year, Service Users have been getting back into swing of things, with the Farm starting up, and Service Users enjoying their community access support and independence skills.
Arts and Craft sessions, provided by Creative Mojo will be continuing from the 25th January due to the popularity of the sessions over the Christmas period and we look forward to seeing what creations they can make.
Service Users celebrated their birthday weekend in style with a trip to the Cinema, bowling and a meal out, with some fellow Service Users, and also spent the day with their family out in the local area.

A night with ABBA
On the 12th April everyone got their glad rags on to go and sing and dance to an ABBA tribute band at the Playhouse in Weston-Super-Mare.
Before getting to the playhouse everyone went to the Brewers Fare for dinner. Everyone made their orders and relaxed, fuelling up ready for all the singing and dancing.
After the food, everyone made their way down to the show. One Service User wasn’t too sure what to expect, however once the first couple of chords of Dancing Queen were played that was it - they spent the next 2 hours on their feet singing and dancing.
Other Service Users also spent time in the aisles smashing some serious shapes. During the interval everyone had some ice cream to get some energy back and soothe their throats ready for the next half.
Once everyone got home it was time to crash out with everyone requiring a lie-in the next morning.
Plans have already been made to go to the next tribute evening later in the year.
