Silver Tree Lodge has been purpose built to provide an environment in which service users can progress onto greater levels of independent living, without re-location.
This is achieved through a moving on process which supports service users to move from residential care to our supported living services within the same grounds. To enable this the home is divided between two buildings; the front four apartments are registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) under the residential care title, whereas the rear four apartments are supported living flats.
We provide a needs led package of care, offering service users a wide range of structured activities and programmes as well as supporting them in moving towards a greater level of independence. Ourhighly trained staff help them achieve the maximum level of independence, with dignity, individuality and privacy.
Silver Tree Lodge provides a homely, safe atmosphere and is decorated to a high standard. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities and most have separate living spaces. We are also able to provide kitchenette facilities in several apartments depending on the needs and abilities of the individual. We aim to make every service users stay as homely and comfortable as possible.
Silver Tree Lodge is a Victorian house situated in the heart of Weston-super-Mare. Located in a picturesque setting overlooking Clarence Park it is only a short walk from the beach and the town.
The town of Weston-super-Mare has an abundance of resources for people with learning difficulties. There are several drop-in and day-centres, a modern college with excellent facilities, several theatres, cinema, bowling alley, parks, woodlands, beaches and a well equipped sports centre.
