Sessions based at the Mendip Centre are designed to promote independent working/life skills and the opportunity to try various tasks and practices associated with a farm environment. This helps service users work towards not only a educational and rewarding work placement, but also the possibility of finding a potential career/job path when the service user moves on to unsupported living. Our staff team are there to support the service users with motivation and to promote independent thinking. The service users have access to all the tools and equipment required for the various jobs. The service users receive training from the staff team in how to use the appropriate tools in the correct and safe manner.
